Municipal Information Technology Committee

The Municipal Information Technology Committee (MITC) was formed in 2007 as a division of NHLoGIN. This new group is made up of municipal information technology professionals, focusing on the core technical challenges that face communities. It is a peer resource and online forum for professional technology staff employed by New Hampshire governments, counties and school districts to conduct focused discussions about the technology industry through shared ideas, information, techniques and solutions. Working together with common goals and interests, MITC members promote common information technology standards and act as a unified voice to other agencies and stakeholders.

Membership to MITC is open to any person currently holding a New Hampshire municipal information technology position. Please see the membership page (link to Membership) for the fee structure and more information. Your membership includes access to our MITC Member Directory, along with special MITC Forums sections in the Forums area.

The main goal of MITC recently has been the creation of this new web portal for NHLoGIN members. This new portal replaces the Listserv means of communication that NHLoGIN had previously. The portal is an updated means of communication, providing 24x7 access to information and communication throughout the state. It is a place where NHLoGIN members, regardless of their profession, may come to access news, discussion forums, documents, links and contacts. It is a place not only for document sharing, but networking to easily and efficiently provide a means to access information and contacts that would have been cumbersome to collect before.
