For over 10 years, NHLoGIN has helped government officials and employees from all over New Hampshire to collaborate with each other through our list serve and web site. With this new web portal, we are proud to be able to offer even more resources for inter-governmental professional networking, online discussion, and information sharing.
To our fellow NH Local Government Center affiliate groups, we are offering several new services, such as secured discussion forums and a document library. We also offer affiliate groups the opportunity to participate in NHLoGIN initiatives through our Delegate Board Member positions. For more information, please email us at info@nhlogin.org.
About NHLoGIN
Information Technology (IT) is utilized by more and more government agencies to provide services, reduce costs, and improve access to information. At any one time, most local governments are either considering, planning, or deploying IT initiatives – often, more than one at time. But as IT uses and opportunities continually increase and evolve, so too do the challenges, costs, and options faced by local governments. Many agencies have limited or no IT staff or support, and State IT projects can introduce costs and requirements at the local government level.
NHLoGIN seeks to fill the role of a collective voice of as well as for local government IT needs and issues. Municipalities, county governments, school districts, other local government entities, and State agencies benefit from sharing information and experiences, resulting in better uses of IT for government services while saving time and money.
Membership in NHLoGIN is open to all those involved in or working with New Hampshire local governments, including cities, towns, counties, school districts, and more. Our broad membership base includes employees from all levels of government as well as elected and appointed officials, volunteers, and vendors. Together we are an organization with a proud history of local government IT service, information sharing, advocacy, and influence.
